Start caring for children in the middle of the plague.

i am a planner My husband and I went to Bright Horizons® Children's Center in 2019 when I was only three months pregnant. We decide on one or the other. And it is scheduled to start in June 2020 when our son will be three months old. He was born at the end of February. Before the pandemic hit the US in full force and needless to say Our plans have changed

When we return to work (from home), our son's care can be managed for a while. He naps on my chest as I write and answer emails. He attended my husband's team meeting and hung out in our office. But it's harder to juggle. Let's crawl first. Then stand. Then go sailing. all within two months

Then my practical husband said, “What happened when he started walking?” We settled on the idea that we needed help. And our son definitely needs more than we can give him during the day.

Fortunately, we have chosen the center. They had reopened a few months ago. And there is a point in the classroom for babies.

Best Baby Daycare near Me, When we contact them again My number one question isn't about health and safety. Because I know Bright Horizons has taken every precaution. “What if he doesn't stop crying?” I could count the number of people holding him with both hands. And being left with someone other than me or my husband would have been a completely different experience. I was worried that he would cry all day and we had to pick him up early.

I've never been more happy to be wrong. On the first day, he hugged his teacher. And we got a lot of pictures of our happy smiling boy in his classroom. That doesn't mean his first date was perfect — he sobbed when another baby approached and started babbling. (“Who is this other little human?!”) And he doesn't care too much about breakfast or lunch. But it was much better than we expected.

We are now a month old. He has a full meal. (Pretty sure he eats in the middle rather than at home), naps in his crib, and interacts with other babies. and he explored things So many that he could not do anything else. (Congratulations to his teacher for finger painting, smeared foam, sticky paper, and many other fun projects.)

We thought we would be exposed to pins and needles every day, thinking "what happens" to send our children to childcare during the pandemic. But we are not. don't get me wrong It's still in our hearts. But we are comfortable knowing that the center does a very good job of enforcing health and safety protocols. and update when things still change
